1. When was your first contact with acting? How did you get into it?

I've wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember. I remember once as a child, I went to school and told everyone i was playing John Travolta's daughter in his next movie. So I guess my first contact with it was all the stories I would make up? Because I would do that a lot... But I started taking acting classes very early on. One class I was taking had our headshots on the wall. A casting director came in one day and saw my photo, and asked me to audition for a film she was casting and I got the part.

2. What was the casting process for Sally like? Did you read with both Sam Witwer and Sam Huntington?

I auditioned for Sally a couple times in Canada, then one of our executive producers Adam Kane came an workshopped the audition with me. Then they brought me to LA to screen test with a couple other people which is where I met the guys for the first time. We ended up reading together at one point, and it just felt right. We all knew.

3. Sally was hardly ever involved in any relationships that lasted longer than one episode so far. Can we expect a love-interest for Sally soon?

Maybe. There is one specific relationship in season two that play a major role in Sally's story.

4. So Sally seems to have gone to a dark place where she meets the reaper and shreds other ghosts. How did you prepare and do you like to play that other side of her?

I really liked it. I think it represents something we all have in us - good and bad. Our values and sanity really rely on how we balance the two. What the show does so well is use these supernatural afflictions as metaphors for something human- issues that people deal with everyday. In this case, Sally has become schizophrenic. Having gone through so much trauma, feeling so inconsequential for so long, she has created another person- an alter ego, that validates her. That gives her a purpose. That makes her feel special.

Preparing for that was fun. I got to really use my imagination, and really explore a darker side of myself, while trying to understand all that Sally has felt up to this point. I feel lucky that i was given the chance to really go there.

5. What was your favorite of Sallys adventures so far? And what was your favorite episode to shoot?

Episode 10 of season 2 is my absolute favorite. You will fully understand why when it airs.

6. We asked Sam W. in a recent interview if the show's message is that it all comes down to friendship and he agreed. What's your take on that?

I think it does. The show is about the friendship of these unlikely friends, bonded by afflictions. They come together for support, and find a love for eachother that comes above everything else. In season two, as we see them spiral out of control, they lose touch with what has held them together all this time, and somehow strive to find a way back to eachother.

7. As a viewer: Josh or Aidan?

How could you make me choose that? It's like saying which one of your siblings you love more. Now, I'm not saying I don't have an answer. I like one of them better. But I'm not saying which one. Kidding. I love them both the same. Not.

8. Do the three of you sometimes play around with your characters in your spare time and think up crazy situations they could find themselves in?

Yes. But unfortunately none of them are remotely appropriate to talk about.

9. What would you like for Sally to happen in season 3?

It's hard to answer that question without talking about where she leaves off in the season finale. All I can say is that I am really excited. And terrified.

10. What's the story behind Mark Pelledreamo / Pelleschemo / Pellegreenthumb?

Mark Pellegrino is a multi-faceted man. He's very dreamy (Pelledreamo), sometimes he is scheming ominously (Pelleschemo), and sometimes he gardens (Pellegreenthumb). Note: I do not actually know if Mark Pellegrino gardens.

11. In "The Assistants" your character Rigby is quite a difficult person, whereas Sally seems to be the opposite of her. Do you see similarities between the two women?

Absolutely not. They couldnt be more different. They are two differently structured shows, two different genres. Rigby was also a raging bitch.

12. If you weren't an actress, which profession could you picture yourself in?

Something creative. Maybe photography?

13. Your father is British and Austrian. Have you been to Europe, or even Germany, before?

I've been to Europe quite a bit and could not love it more. I am so happy these. I had been to Berlin, and am actually planning on going again for a little bit before we start shooting season 3. I'm am dying to go to Austria, hopefully that will happen soon.

14. myFanbase is a website that's devoted to American television shows. Do you have one or more favorite show(s)?

"Lost" was one of my favorite shows of all time. "The Sopranos" is amazing although i hated the ending. Also "Breaking Bad".

Thank you, Meaghan, we hope to see you in Germany one day maybe at a fantasy convention!
