1. You’ve started a production company and constructed a recording studio at your place. What are your future plans? Are you planning to record your own music or do you want to support other musicians?

I'm playing with a group right now called "Happy Niceweather" and we're playing a show in Los Angeles next week. But my musical ambitions are periodic and easily fleeting. I'm rather passive about it. Which is nice break from how much I care about filmmaking.

2. You have written, directed and produced some short films? Would you like to spend more time behind the camera than in front of it? Or do you try to keep the balance?

I'm directing two short films right now with the intention of making one of the features I wrote within the next couple years. I think I'm moving into an impulsive balance, act when I want to act, hold up or take off and write when I want to write, and bear down and direct when that calls me. It's all storytelling - just different perspectives.

3. You are planning a trip to Africa? Have you ever been there before? What country do you want to visit or will it be an around-trip?

That trip's going on hold. I felt like I just wanted to run away for a while but then discovered my real battle is to stay in and go through the mud.

4. Are you interested in travelling? Which places have you been to?

I've always travelled. I love Central America - especially Nicaragua. I love the people and the food in Turkey. Northern Spain keeps calling me back.

5. When and why did you decide to become an actor?

I've always thought stories were the foundation of people. I still believe that that is where all societal change begins, or is at least the spreader of the news. It is where matters of the spirit or heart can be discussed and expressed. And every actor, myself included, needs to prove that they're loveable to others and to themselves.

6. Kyle is one of the most interesting characters on "The 4400” because he’s been through so much and now turned out to be a very special part of the prophecy. Do you like the changes Kyle’s been through?

He's been on a journey and I've been on it with him. I feel like I've lived with him for decades. But of all the characters I've played, he may have personally affected me the least. Some of the characters I've played have taught me things and learned from me, it's a two way street. I was never able to have such a dialogue with Kyle for some reason. But I love him - even though he pisses me off.

7. Why do you think did Kyle take the Promicin shot?

Kyle wanted to feel like all his suffering had a purpose. He put himself on the threshold of purpose and love and chose purpose, sacrificing the only one he can truly trust - his father.

8. What do you think about the end of season 4? Was it a great season finale?

Secret - I still haven't seen it. I don't have cable and I've been wrapped up in other ventures. The script was great and it seemed like the perfect ending to the season or the show.

9. Do you think there will be a fifth season?

I really don't know. I'd say 50/50.

10. If there will be a fifth season, will we see you in it again?

I don't know that either. The future is a fuzzy blur.

11. If Promicin was available, would you take it? And which ability would you like to have?

I wouldn't take it. If I am to do something extraordinary in my life I want it to be of my own invention, my own discovery. It's the equivalent of wanting to be known for something/anything and assassinating someone famous just to have that noteriaty. destruction is easily confused for creation, and creation doesn't come in a vial. It's just you and nothingness.

12. Do you have any new projects you can tell us about?

Everything is in incubation stage. I'm hoping to have something solidify soon.

13. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series do you have a favourite one?

I loved that show "Rome." Those people made ancient Rome so current and relevant and brought those stories to life magnificently. And I watch anything Ricky Gervais does.
