Donald Edmond Wahlberg, Jr. Wurde am 17. August 1969 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, geboren. Seine Karriere fing mit 14 Jahren in der Boyband New Kids on the Block an, die sich 1984 gegründet hat und 2008 eine Wiedervereinigung feierte.
Wahlberg ist aber auch als Schauspieler in den Filmen "Saw II" bis "Saw IV" zu sehen und spielte in der Mini-Serie "Band of Brothers" mit. Seit 2010 spielt er eine Hauptrolle in der CBS-Serie "Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York".
Der Schauspieler Mark Wahlberg ist sein Bruder.
