Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut

Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut wurde am 9. August 1992 in Gainesville, Florida, USA geboren und hält ansonsten ihr Privatleben von der Öffentlichkeit fern.

2014 übernahm sie erstmals eine Gastrolle in einem bekannten Format und zwar "Gotham" sowie "Detective Laura Diamond". Größere Bekanntheit erlangte sie als Simone Bah in der sechsten Staffel von Showtimes "Homeland". 2023 war sie als Sidney La Forge in "Star Trek: Picard" zu sehen. Dick Wolf und sein Team entdeckten sie ein Jahr später und besetzten Ashlei als Medizinstudentin Naomi Howard in der neunten Staffel von "Chicago Med".
