1. In "Friday Night Lights" you played a girl who was suffering from a bipolar disorder. How did you prepare for this role?

I read a lot of articles on the subject and even watched some "youtube" videos of real people with bipolar disorder.
I learned about the surplus of medications and how difficult it is to diagnose.

2. Waverly was Smash Williams' girlfriend and had to deal with his egocentrism based on his high school football career. Have you yourself met these jocks that are like popstars in their school and town?

Definitely!! We had one "superstar" at my high school. Every time he would walk into the cafeteria the whole school (even the teachers) would yell out his name. He was uber cool!!

3. Waverly was only in the first season. Did you have other projects or was her character only planned for one season?

Waverly was originally scheduled for an episode or two and I feel so lucky to have played her for the additional amount of time. Of course, I wish they could have fit her in more episodes but there are a lot of characters on FNL to cover and I guess Waverly just fell to the wayside, poor Wave!

4. While filming "Friday Night Lights" or any other of your projects did you meet local people that could relate to the characters you were playing?

I remember always bumping into local students at the movie theaters, or restaurants and they would always tell us to keep up the good work!!!

5. What is the difference between working on "Friday Night Lights" and your other projects? Is it more challenging to have a certain freedom in front of the camera with your lines and character interpretation?

FNL was an actor's dream come true. I always felt safe and free in my portrayal. What a gift!!

6. Does a scene come easier that way or is it less difficult to work with a given text and set marks?

Each way has it's individual pressures, pluses and minuses. I just feel like the characters seem much more natural when there is more freedom to think from their point of view rather than worrying about saying the exact words on the page and standing in a predetermined spot.

7. You've had guest appearances in the three big hospital shows "ER, "House M.D." and "Grey's Anatomy". Which was your favorite?

Oooohh tough question. I sincerely enjoyed working on all of those shows but I have to say working with Hugh Laurie was a bit of an extra treat...

8. You play a lead role in teen drama-series "South of Nowhere" on The-N, which hasn't aired in Germany yet. What can you tell us about the show?

Well if you like precocious teenagers and sassy dialogue then this is the show for you!!! I hope that it arrives in Germany soon because this groundbreaking series is really fun to watch.

9. Have you ever been to Germany or do you have plans to come here? What do you associate with Germany?

I have never been but, I would love to visit Germany some day. My great-grandfather was German and I would love to see where he grew up.

10. What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to watch movies, go for adventurous walks and play poker with my friends.

11. Is there a show currently airing which you would like to play a part in? What kind of part would you like to play if you could choose?

I would love to play a motorcycle babe on "Sons of Anarchy" it's like the Sopranos on wheels...

12. Do you have any further new projects coming up that you can tell us about?

Yes, I just returned home from shooting a movie in New York City called "Pariah." It is an awesome story about a girl who is trying to figure out who she really is.

13. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series, do you have a favorite one?

My favorite Television series is "Rescue Me" because it surprises me and can make me laugh then cry in a moments turn.
