1. What is your favorite moment of your childhood?
I would have to say the first time I ever went to see the Red Sox play at Fenway Park. I went with my grandfather and I remember it was bat day but they ran out of bats by the time I went through haha It was a doubleheader too so I got to see two games! I'll never forget that feeling.
2. When and why did you decide to become an actor?
My family knew it before I did. As a kid I would watch movies like Ghostbusters and be able to recite the whole movie. My parents use to tell me if I could be as good as remembering school work as I am movies I'd be top of my class. I pretty much knew by the age of 8.
3. You've been playing a Kappa Tau Active on "Greek" for about 30 episodes. What do you think about the easygoing Kappa Tau way of life? Are there party-fraternities like this one in real life?
I think it's a fun way of life for a short period of time haha. No, I would have to say I love it! At some point in your life you have to grow up but you don't have to stop having fun. I think the Kappas embrace that fact. I've heard some crazy stories about certain party-fraternities, they might even step it up from what's been done on the show.
4. Which one is your favorite "Greek" episode and why?
I would have to say my favorite episode is "Three's a Crowd". The reason being it was a 70s-themed party the Kappas threw and I got to dress up in a full 70s outfit, and that was topped off with me getting to wear a fake mustache. I remember walking into the studio and makeup said come with me... you're getting a stash! Haha
5. Will the Kappa Tau president Cappie ever take his final exams?
I sure know he doesn't want to, but I'm sure he'll find a reason to move on. If I were him I might never take them!
6. Storylines and characters on this show are so much fun. Is there a lot of goofing around on set? Can you share a funny little anecdote?
There's tons of goofing around all the time. It's like as soon as you hear cut Scott and Aaron are off making people laugh. The PA's are in the fun too, everyone is always having a great time.
7. Which one of the cast members do you like to work with the most?
If I had to choose one I'd say Aaron Hill who plays Beaver. Not only is he one of the funnest people I've ever met, he's also one of the nicest. He's always smiling and having a good time, it's the kind of person you want to be around because they make your day brighter.
8. Watching "Greek" feels like being on vacation. What do you think brings this quality to the show?
I think the fraternities have a lot to do with it. There's always something going on that's crazy and so out of the norm. I think people see that and just think... God, that looks fun.
9. If you could put together an entire crew for a movie or show: Who would be the director? Who would be the writer? And who would be in the leading role(s)?
Well that's a fun question... lets see. I'd have James Cameron direct it, Quentin Tarantino would write it and Bruce Willis, Olga Kurylenko and Myself would star in it. Me being Olgas love interest of course haha
10. What is your favorite place in the world? Where do you feel most comfortable?
I would have to say Boston, that's where I'm from and I love that city and everything it has to offer. I'm most comfortable in my bed, it's weird but I just feel at ease without a care in the world while laying in bed.
11. Do you have any other new projects you can tell us about?
Nothing new on TV but I've been doing a few short films that I'll be putting up online soon. You can see a few now on my myspace or facebook page. I just finished one that's being edited right now and should be up by march.
12. You play parts in student short films as well. How much different is student-filmmaking from working for a network show like "Greek" or "CSI"?
Haha well I guess my last answer was a good set up for this one! It's really different in some cases and others it's pretty much the same. The network shows are highly funded so you don't have to cheat shots and props and wardrobe are at your beck and call. On student films there's little to no money and you have to work harder at getting the shots you want. Both are fun but if I had to choose network wins all the time.
13. In theatre you once played "The Mad Hatter" in "Alice in Wonderland", the role Johnny Depp portrays in the new Tim Burton film version. Have you seen it yet? Can you compare your portrayal to the one in the movie?
I haven't see the movie yet but I can't wait too! That's one movie I would love to attend the premiere of. I played it in an crazy evil kind of way. I brought the dark side of the character in to light where Johnny looks like he just went full on crazy haha. But I really can't compare myself to Johnny Depp, at least yet.
14. You're a musician as well. Fans can listen to one of your songs on MySpace. What's more fun, making music or acting?
Haha you heard that! Yeah I do love both but acting beats out making music for me. I need both in my life but if I couldn't act anymore I think I might go crazy.
15. Are there any artists that might have influenced you or inspired you some time?
Yeah, Nirvana was a big one. The Beatles, Weezer to name a few. I get inspired by a lot of music.
16. How do you develop your songs? What part comes first, music or lyrics?
The music comes first for me. I tend to write lyrics as I go. I work off the flow of the song to figure out what kind of lyrics I feel like writing.
17. What record would we find in your CD player right now?
None haha I use my Iphone to play music in my car... But if I had to say what record I've been listening to lately it would be it's Weezer: Ratitude... it's so good!
18. What do you think, as an artists, about platforms like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace?
I love them! I think they're great for keeping intouch with fans and getting yourself out there. I'm always on facebook and I'm still kicking it on myspace, but twitter I'm starting to get better at. I just tweeted that I was going to keep up with it because I went a while without posting anything and I think I lost a lot of followers.
19. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series, do you have a favorite show?
Right now my favorite shows are "Dexter" and "True Blood", both shows I would kill to be on even if was only a few seconds! I'm also into "South Park", "Family Guy", "House M.D.", and "Better Off Ted" to name a few.... And "Greek" of course!!
