1. How would you describe your music in one sentence?

The personal, emotional expression of one hope-filled kid.

2. Was there something like a light bulb moment when you were young, maybe a concert, a certain song or a record that made you dream about a career as a musician?

I had always loved music and dreamed of making it, but it was either The Beatles White Album, Elliott Smith's either or, or Radiohead's Kid A.

3. Are there any artists that might have influenced you some time?

Radiohead, Modest Mouse, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Kings of Leon.

4. How do you develop your songs? What part comes first, music or lyrics?

Usually a basic tune, then I take a lot of time to write the lyrics to the basic tune, then revise the tune.

5. What song is most important to you? Why and how did it develop?

Elizabeth. I wrote it very very late one night, shortly after my mom had passed away. It is her song.

6. In what aspects did your music change compared to when you started to make music?

It has always just been an expression.. If it has changed, its cause I'm not the same person I was then.

7. What has been the best experience so far, as an artist?

I believe in beauty in the every day. My best experiences occur every day. They occur every time someone tells me my music has helped them.

8. What can you tell us about your current projects?

They are different, only cause I am.

9. And what are you aspiring to in the future, what do you want to achieve?

I want to make music, and be the same type of influence my favorite artists were to me.

10. With whom would you like to go on tour?

Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Kings of Leon

11. What record would we find in your CD-player right now?

In my bedroom.. Beastie Boys "the mix up" (check that album out it will blow your mind).
In my car.. hahaha honestly I think the soundtrack to "that thing you do".

12. What do you think, as artists, about platforms like MySpace?

It is sadly used by people to determine how good a band is based on their popularity, but I think it is a great way to get music out to the masses.

13. myFanbase is a website that is devoted to American television shows. Do you have a favorite show?

I dont watch much TV.. But I loved "Arrested Developement" and I love how its made. Basically anything on the discovery channel.
