When a thought provoking TV show sparks ideas, lavish settings whet the appetite and inspiring portrayals ignite a fire in the hearts of the viewers some people grab brush or pencil to express their personal interpretations and wishes for the characters. Creating fan art is a way of telling creators and actors that we love and appreciate what they're doing. "Versailles", the drama series set at Louis XIV's court in the 17th century, is one of these shows that exalt the imagination of a great variety of artists. We talked to some of these 'Artists of the Court' about their work, distinctive styles and their passion to create and share their pieces, and the mix of agreement and significantly varying thoughts is simply fascinating.
