1. What is your favourite moment of your childhood?

Well my parents are both scientists, my mom a herpetologist (reptiles and amphibians) and my father a botanist (plants), so we would go out to the middle of nowhere in the Mohave desert in southern California and look for tortises and snakes. One time we were in these sand dunes in the desert and when you ran down the slope, it would make a weird barking noise from your feet hitting the sand (I swear!) and we did it over and over and it kept making me laugh!

2. When and why did you decide to become an actress?

I was in detention and heard some people practicing a routine for a musical number for an audition for ‘How to Suceed in Business without really trying’. Someone said I should try out and I did, and got the part of Hedy LaRue. On opening night, with the lights on, singing my number, was the moment I fell in love with acting.

3. If you could choose to put together an entire crew for a movie: Who would be the director? Who would be the writer? And who would be in the leading role(s)?

MAN! That is a HARD question!!! I have to come back to this one.
OK, I’m back to this and it isn’t any easier! Ok, directed by Martin Scorcese and written by Nancy Meyers, and starring Me of course!!! With a little help from my leading man, Clive Owen. :-)

4. What was the hardest scene you've ever done and why?

In the movie ‘A Very Brady Sequel’, I had to appear in a bikini at a pool party. Well, we filmed this in January, it was drizzling and 38 degrees out. My hair kept frizzing out, and they kept having to stop production for the hair people to flatten my hair between takes, and needles to say, I was FREEZING. I have never felt that kind of cold on my private parts!!! It seeps right thru your bikini!!!

5. What was it about "Glee" that made you audition for a role on the show?

The script, the script and the script. It was sooooo good. After I read it I knew it would be a huge hit and that I had to be a part of it. I truly fell in love.

6. Why do you think “Glee” is such an enormous success?

So much talent and an undefinable magical quality that you know is there but is impossible to name. I worship the writing, it is brilliant. It looks fantastic, the cast is spectacular, and the musical numbers are superb. It just grabs you, makes you laugh, cry, think, tap your feet and sing the next day. It sweeps you up in a way you cant find anywhere else.

7. What's it like working with Ryan Murphy?

He has the sharpest mind and wit. He keeps you laughing and experimenting. And you know that you are in great hands, and that it will look amazing and special and that you are in the presence of an extraordinary artist.

8. If you could have any musician of your choice on the show, who would it be and why?

Madonna, of course! And Common, because he is soooooo great in soooo many ways.

9. Kendra is definitely one of a kind. In what kind of storyline would you like to see her in?

The great thing about Kendra is she will do anything to get done what she thinks should happen. And that leaves the door wide open for story. I’d like her to continue to obsesivly run Will Schuester and Terri’s marriage and get them kids one way or another. I’d also like to see her have some unscrupulous love affair as I consider her to be quite a flirty minx!

10. Now that the secret is out Kendra's Terri will need her more than ever. Do you think she is going to admit (to Will) that she kind of forced Terri into lying and help her sister out by doing this?

No, I don’t think Kendra think she has done anything wrong, ever, so why apologize!!!

11. Kendra said that lying is important to keep a relationship/marriage working? What do you think is the most important thing in a relationship?

Well, my marriage is a very different type of relationship then Kendra. I have a super hot and wonderful husband, David O’donnell. We have been together for 12 years. And we keep it going by being silly. We laugh alllll the time and don’t have any heaviness to our partnership. And we don’t keep secrets from each other because secrets build distance. And laughter brings you close!

12. Are there funny experiences you made on set that you can tell us about?

Not that I can share….cause it’s just toooooo embarassing!

13. Will we ever see you perform and sing on "Glee"?

I hope and pray for that to happen!!! If anyone out there wants to rally for Kendra to sing, let the producers know you want it and it shall be yours!!!

Is there anything you can tell us about what's coming up next?

No. LOL.

Do you have any other new projects you can tell us about?

Soon I will!

Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series, do you have a favourite one?

I am a big fan of HBO's True Blood and never miss it!
