1. Was there a special moment that led you to pursue a career as an actor?

My first time on stage. I loved the rush of live performance. I loved putting on a show. I loved creating something original with a group of people.

2. Eight years after the end of "Gilmore Girls" fans all over the world are still emotionally invested in the show. Now with the revival in the talks, would you consider coming back as Christopher, if they'll ask you?

Of course. I'd love it.

3. What is your fondest memory of your time on "Gilmore Girls"?

Shooting the scene in the kitchen at the end of my first episode, #1.15 Christopher Returns. It was a fun, challenging scene. It was the moment I felt the character for the first time, and the depth of his love for Lorelai.

4. Since Christopher was quite often the one standing in the way of Lorelai and Luke getting together, did you have some strange or harsh fan encounters regarding your role?

There's a lot of fans of the show that hate me for that. It's usually expressed on social media. In real life, people understand I'm not actually the character, and they're usually very kind and complimentary.

5. Talking about 'shipping': From Christopher's point of view, who was the best fit for his daughter - Logan, Dean or Jess?

Dean.

6. Your latest tv show "Proof" has been canceled recently. Does it ever get easier to say goodbye to a show and its cast and crew and move on to something else?

It's never easy, but it does get easier. It's like getting your heart broken -- you eventually figure out that you'll always survive it.

7. "Proof" explored the mystery of what happens after we die. Do you think the show approached this 'ultimate question' in an adequate way?

It's a tough subject to tackle, but I thought the set-up and structure of the show was smart, and I thought it was well executed. I was surprised it wasn't renewed.

8. Was the spiritual aspect of "Proof" something that appealed to you?

The show was certainly asking questions I ask myself. I'm open to all possibilities about the nature of life and death. There's so much we don't know.

9. What can you tell us about the movie "Milton's Secret" you're currently working on?

It's based on a children's novel by Ekhart Tolle, author of The Power of Now, and one of my favourite books, A New Earth. Milton's Secret is about a 12-year-old boy who uses the spiritual wisdom taught to him by his eccentric grandfather to deal with the bully at school and his self-obsessed parents, whose relationship is breaking apart. It stars Donald Sutherland, Michelle Rodriguez, Mia Kirshner, and me. Newcomer William Ainscough plays Milton. I loved shooting this movie and I hope everyone gets a chance to see it.

10. A few years back you created the project "GROUP: A Documentary Web Series". Can you tell us a little bit about the idea behind it?

It's a series about a week-long Core Energetics group therapy retreat. Core Energetics is a form a therapy that I practice and teach. It's very powerful and cathartic and also fascinating to watch -- a journey deep into the human psyche. It's honestly not like anything you've ever seen before. It's my passion and I wanted to share it with people.

11. Imagine time travel was possible: What advice would you give your younger self from 2005?

Don't judge yourself. Chill. Have fun.

12. Would you tell us three things that are currently on you bucket list?

Motorcycle trip across Europe. Hunting/fishing trip in Alaska. Build a cabin in the woods.

13. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about tv shows, we would like to know what your favorite shows are?

"The Wire, "Breaking Bad", "Fargo", "The Fall", "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

Thank you so much for making time for us, David, we wish you all the best!
