1. First of all: You have two new projects "Teeth" and "Fifty Pills". Can you tell us something about these movies and which part you will play in them?

"Fifty Pills" is a comedy I did a few summers ago. I play a character called "Coleman". He's basically an upper-class drug dealer who befriends the lead character, and then leads him into a lot of trouble. "Teeth" is an interesting story which will most likely take the shape of a dark comedy of sorts. I'll be very curious to see how that one turns out. The director is still locked away in the editing room, the last I heard.

2. This is maybe the hundredth time you got this question, but since you play in a show about plastic surgery, I guess it is obviously to ask you what you think about plastic surgery and can you image to ever to a plastic surgery?

It's funny, but working on the show has actually softened my views on plastic surgery. I used to think it was very disturbing, as a whole. However, now my views are a little more sympathetic. I can understand the idea of someone searching for something that they feel will make them more complete in some way. That being said I don't think they will necessarily find it in a new face. But, I think we've all been guilty of looking for answers in the wrong places. I know in my life I certainly have. And, though I have no desire to do something like elect to have that kind of surgery, you never know. But for now, any lines on my face are well earned, and for that I'm grateful... I see no need to erase them now.

3. You're character "Matt" hadn't had much luck with his former girlfriends... Why do you think does he always fall in love with the "wrong" girls?

I think he too is often looking for an answer in the wrong place.

4. How much of Matt McNamara is in John Hensley? Are you anything like Matt in real life?

Maybe there is a bit of Matt in me... At least from my past. You see, Matt is much younger than I. But, I certainly can relate to his outlook at moments. At least when thinking back to the time when I was his age, or a little younger. However, it is often a challenge at work these days, simply because I constantly have to put my own life experiences on the side. Many times after we do a take, I'm told by the director, "If Matt were 28, that would have been great, but he is 18, so let's do it again,". That is a constant battle for me on the show, internally speaking. But, at the end of the day when you do a television series, your job is to serve the story of the writer. And, hopefully I've been able to do that for them.

5. (Spoiler) In season 3 Matt seems to change very much (because of his girlfriend. How did you like this change and what was is like to play that?

Oh, the change was great fun for me. And, to play such things often times makes for a good day at work. It's a gift to get a script after three years of doing the same show, and still feel as though you are being asked to experiment with something new, and potentially creative.

6. (Spoiler) Can you tell us anything about season 4 of Nip/Tuck? And have you heard anything about what the writers plan for your character next season?

Season 4... Well, I honestly can't say too much, because they'd have my head. But, I can tell you that the show is taking a slight turn towards its beginnings, getting back to the central group of characters. As for Matt, season 4 starts off finding him in the wake of all the insanity from season 3. He's withdrawn, and searching for a more productive way to live.

7. Is it true that you wanted to be a cowboy before you discovered you'd like to be an actor? Or is this just a rumor?

I was a cowboy. I wrangled horses in Wyoming for a few years after high school.
