1. How and when did you get started in acting?

My first professional job was at the Denver center theater company in Colorado in a production of A Christmas Carol as the role of Peter cratchett

2. You were in one of the hottest shows around, "True Blood", as football star Kitch Maynard. The show really is something else, how was working on it?

It was outstanding! Such a fun role with a talented cast. I only really interacted with Ryan Kwanten though. The man is an absolute delight by the way. Caring and giving in equal measures.

3. You play Hastings Ruckle on "Friday Night Lights". Was it difficult for you as the new guy in season 5 to join the cast that had already been working together for years?

Not at all they were all very hospitable and welcoming I'm the luckiest guy I know when it comes to working with great people.

4. On FNL you've got a lot of freedom to improvise in front of the camera. For you personally is this an easy approach to acting or is it more challenging?

I prefer improv. It's challenging and fun and unexpected. It's ideal for me

5. Which is your favorite FNL-moment or episode?

I love in the "Kingdom" episode when we were all bonding by the fire. It's such a well done scene you really see the relationships and closeness well in that scene.

6. Hastings is kind of a quiet guy and we don't find out much about him. Do you know more about his story or did you think something up to base your portrayal of the character on?

I didn't base him of off anything just thought about where he came from and went from there.

7. Is it true you auditioned for Stefan Salvatore on "The Vampire Diaries"? It would have been great to see you in this role! In what way do you think your Stefan would have been different from Paul Wesley's?

Well I think Paul's done an outstanding job as Stefan. I was green at that time and wouldn't have been able to do the job that he did. It's hard to say how it would have been different.

8. You now play the part of Brian in the new show "The Nine Lives of Chloe King". What can we expect from the show and your character?

Surprises, haha, lots of surprise. This show has been a fun ride. The character I think just gets better with every episode.

9. What is like to be on a new set with new characters to invent and new people to work with? What is the getting to know eachother part like when your characters get close quite quickly?

I think every new actor should start on a new show, the learning experience is priceless. We've all bonded well from this experience. I've only worked with quality people so I've been spoiled so far in my career.

10. On DVDs you sometimes find bloopers. What moments of FNL or "Chloe King" would you put in a gag reel?

The banter! Haha there has been so much quick and clever banter amongst the cast.

11. If you could put together an entire crew for a movie or show: Who would be the director? Who would be in the leading role(s)? And what would it be about?

Kubrick as director. Jimmy Stewart, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Kerry Washington and Natalie Portman as the actors. In a post apocalyptic zombie thriller about actors from old an new Hollywood trying to cope with the new world.

12. myFanbase is a website that is devoted to American television shows. Do you have a favorite show?
